The Hotel is only suitable for people who are able bodied although there is a bus up to the main town there is a bit of a walk over cobbles which could be dangerous. As we arrived late in the evening we had to drag our cases over all the cobbles. Very poor food left for us as we had missed the evening meal, only water available if we paid for it. No welcome from staff. If this hotel had been a lower star rating, we may not have been so disappointed.
Wonderful views from our balcony.
The room we had was very basic, quite small. There was no fridge in the room and no option to pay for one. There was no tea/coffee facilities in the room which we have had in other four star hotels. We were not able to adjust the air conditioning it was either on or off. The food was sometimes pretty poor and unappetising. There was no internet in the rooms. Very limited drawer space in the room. The bathroom was very worn.
The location on the water was excellent and close to restaurants also on the water.
Thought the desk clerks could have been a bit more friendly and giving of information rather than having to dig for it. Charging us for cappuccino at breakfast. There should be some disclosure regarding this charge. Two weeks of staying at hotels across Italy, this was the first time we had to pay at breakfast.
Location!! could not believe this 3-star hotel is located right on the water in the little fishing cove (on the other side of the main marina in sorrent)!! Breaky was great - so much choice! and being able to sit and relax on the deck in the sun in the morning was lovely. Basic rooms, nothing flash, but still very comfortable. We didn't go for the 'sea view' room due to our budget, but we could still see the water from our balcony.
No fridge in the room. The room is a little small, but comfortable.
seaside location, good view from room, near to city center
1. hotel is on the fist sea line but without own beach (staff could make a simple stairs to sea entrance). 2. hotel staff could make a more clear description how visiters can go from center of town/train station to hotel (hotel address is very difficult to recognise it at internet maps such as google). 3. brekfast is a litle poor, last visiters could not take a hot dishes
Wonderfully location lovely staff beautifull views.we will be back.
The staff was mostly extremely friendly and helpful. The location makes it a more relaxing less touristy version of sorrento. The view was incredible. Spending a day sitting on a chair next to the sea and walking to one of the nearby restaurants for meals was a perfect day.
The taxi does not go up to the door. A female worker was not friendly. Try to spam as much Italian as possible with them.
The hotel staff were pleasant and helpful and the rooms clean and comfortable.
The hotel was difficult to access and the rooms should have a bar refrigerator as the weather was hot and it would have been nice to be able to have cold refreshments at our disposal during the night without having to go downstairs to the bar area.
The seafront location is delightful. It is close to the Marina Grande with its lovely beach facilities (for example the Bagna Santa Anna, run by Claudio and his wife, a fantastic cook), nice bars ( such as 'the Five De Leva Sisters') and a selection of restaurants, from the simple to the more sophisticated.
The hotel was in a poor state of repair and in need of having money spent on it. It was very inconvenient not to have the facility to pay for sightseeing trips booked through the hotel by credit card. The taxi transfers to the airport were very expensive, and again, it was inconvenient that we could not settle these on the hotel bill by credit card.
Location, friendly staff and reasonable value for money
Gorgeous location, very romantic. Reception staff were really friendly and helpful, particularly Francesco. The bottle of champers on arrival was a nice touch!
Hotel room was small, but as we weren't in our room much it didnt matter. Breakfast was a bit poor, plastic cups etc. Reception staff could also do with advising guests of tours/ airport transfers other than just the ones they are affiliated with.
I only like its clean environment.
The staffs are not friendly and not helpful. And, the hotel doesnt worth the money and the location isn't good at all!!
The hotel is quiet as it is located away from roads and noise. Very friendly fishing village with great restaurants and friendly people.
Excellent position. Good breakfast service.
Being asked to settle the bill by cash at 7am . I refused and paid by debit card in the normal way
Hoel was fairly convenient to city centre and transportation. Bed was firm and comfortable. Breakfast was great with a variety of food.
Room was small but adequate - we don't spend much time in hotel bedrooms anyway. Clubs in the area are noisy but the windows can be closed and the AC is efficient.
The staff was very helpful to all our needs. They even offered up a better room with a terrific view at no charge. Their suggestion as to where to eat was perfect.
The only negative thing was that the hotel, although very clean, seemed to have been rushed to be finished. All the halls and rooms were white and the walls seemed to need another coat of drywall work before calling it complete. It almost seemed like the contractor that was working on the hotel, skipped out before he finished the walls properly. But then again, I look at these things and others may not even notice or care.
