A good location, with stunning views across the Bay of Naples with pool. Not crowded. Close to Delphin Bagni for swimming in the sea. Staff friendly: Francesco was very helpful
the position was excellent, right on the water.
the breakfast was disappointing, not much to chose from.
Great location close to the water and a short walk to town, good food in hotel with great restaurants close buy. Staff arHuLue very friendly and welcoming.
Staff is good, very nice view. It is located at the seaside but far from Sorrento city centre. So if you travel with luggage, better take a taxi. Seaview is good but ordinary.
Location is good to see the sea but on the other hand too far from the centre.
Price-Location-View (amazing) is everything This is a modest hotel, Senior Citizens oriented. One of the few hotels where we stayed in Italy with free wi fi (in the lobby area)!
One of the staff member gave us an unupdated bus schedule, so we miss the bus.
Staff were very accommodating when we arrived they had double booked thus gave us an up market hotel for the first night then bring us back for the next 2 nights
Rooms were very small
Relaxing and gorgeous views
Not enough variation on menu
Great location , very comfortable and relaxing. Also very quiet, usually other hotel guests can be extremely noisey and no regards to other guests, but this was great. Fantastic views, especially of volcano.will definatley be stay here again.
We loved the hotel and the beautiful surroundings. Very friendly staff.
Tea & coffee facilities would have been nice.
The hotel is right (literally) on the Ocean in what used to be and still functions as a small fishing village in the heart of Sorrento now called Marina Grande. There are many good eating places right in the Marina. An excellent and quaint location. The hotel Admiral is only a 15 minute walk to the Heart of Sorrento.
The dining room could use some inovation to make the setting more "romantic" and pleasant(eg. The bright lights and lack of decoration- green plants and wall hangings) detract from what could be a fantastic dining spot
We loved the views. The hotel was kept neat and clean breakfasts were good value.
Now is the bed very hard. Not comfortable.
The Hotel is only suitable for people who are able bodied although there is a bus up to the main town there is a bit of a walk over cobbles which could be dangerous. As we arrived late in the evening we had to drag our cases over all the cobbles. Very poor food left for us as we had missed the evening meal, only water available if we paid for it. No welcome from staff. If this hotel had been a lower star rating, we may not have been so disappointed.
Wonderful views from our balcony.
The room we had was very basic, quite small. There was no fridge in the room and no option to pay for one. There was no tea/coffee facilities in the room which we have had in other four star hotels. We were not able to adjust the air conditioning it was either on or off. The food was sometimes pretty poor and unappetising. There was no internet in the rooms. Very limited drawer space in the room. The bathroom was very worn.
The location on the water was excellent and close to restaurants also on the water.
Thought the desk clerks could have been a bit more friendly and giving of information rather than having to dig for it. Charging us for cappuccino at breakfast. There should be some disclosure regarding this charge. Two weeks of staying at hotels across Italy, this was the first time we had to pay at breakfast.
Location!! could not believe this 3-star hotel is located right on the water in the little fishing cove (on the other side of the main marina in sorrent)!! Breaky was great - so much choice! and being able to sit and relax on the deck in the sun in the morning was lovely. Basic rooms, nothing flash, but still very comfortable. We didn't go for the 'sea view' room due to our budget, but we could still see the water from our balcony.
No fridge in the room. The room is a little small, but comfortable.
